Only a week after winning the SFL Minor Premiership, Cambio Cumbre were back in action, this time with the tough task of taking on the full strength squad of Scarborough Samba Boys. The game was scoreless in the first half but not without any action. Both teams had their chances but it was the eventual winners that made only one of their chances count.

Congratulations to the North Fremantle Sharks who breathed experience and composure to defeat South Fremantle MC 2-0 today. The young South outfit left numerous chances begging in the second half to get on the scoreboard and impact the result!

Cambio Cumbre vs Samba Boys

Cambio Cumbre will be beating to a different drum tomorrow at Melville Rec Centre when they take on Scarborough Samba Boys in semi final number 1 of the State Futsal League playoffs.

While Fonseca's 'La Cumbre' have already posted an impressive defeat against the Samba Boys earlier on in the season, they will be taking nothing for granted against the well built, boisterous Brazilians, who will be out to dent La Cumbre's ambitions.

Semi Final: Saturday 25th May
Location: Melville Recreation Centre, Melville

Grand Final: Sunday 26th May

SFL: Draft League

What is it?
The SFL: Draft League is a new league starting in June, where teams will be linked to an existing SFL Club. Due to the growth that clubs are experiencing, there are players that wish to play in the SFL but still require more training and an understanding of how their club needs them to play. Wednesday Futsal @ Scotch is seen as not enough Futsal for these clubs and their development, so this new league has been created.

Cambio Cumbre showed off their new team Polo shirts provided by Latin Link with their other main sponsor Area 5 on display who provide them with a free training venue to use at the teams convenience. Some great support from local businesses which has helped this new club grow, and in their first season are positioned well to take out the title of the 2013 SFL Summer Season Champions.

Final Round 14: FK Otpisani vs Fremantle Colo Colo 1:20pm

As we approach the final round of the season it is clear that both teams have nothing to gain or lose from this fixture, this should prove an interesting match as neither team are under any pressure.

Cambio Cumbre took a step closer in their quest to finish top of the SFL as the North Fremantle Sharks held South Fremantle MC to a 2-2 draw in yesterday's match of the round.
